河南省科学院高新技术研究中心是公益型科研事业单位，建有河南省精细化工重点实验室和河南省分析测试中心二个省级研发平台。河南省精细化工重点实验室是河南省首批组建的五个省级重点实验室之一，主要从事新型医药及中间体、精细化工清洁生产、有机高分子材料等领域的研究。河南省分析测试研究中心是具备多种检测能力的综合分析测试机构，主要从事化学物质新测试分析技术研究，通过国家计量认证，获准向社会提供公正测试数据，同时接受委托进行各种化学物质、食品、药品等的质量检测。
河南省科学院高新技术研究中心拥有一支较高水平的科研队伍包括研究员15人、博士20人、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选1人、享受国务院政府特殊津贴2人、河南省优秀专家4人和河南省学术技术带头人2人，拥有“河南省核苷类抗病毒新药研究创新型科研团队”、“河南省水性聚合物研究创新型科研团队”、“河南省油田助剂研究创新型科技团队”、“河南省高性能聚氨酯及其复合材料创新性科技团队”四个省级创新型科研团队；装备有包括扫描电子显微镜、原子力显微镜、傅立叶变换红外光谱仪、超导核磁共振仪、高分辨质谱仪、电感耦合等离子体质谱仪、电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪、气相色谱-质谱联用仪、液相色谱-质谱联用仪、TG-DSC联用综合热分析仪、X-线衍射仪、万能材料试验机等在内的数十台先进精密仪器设备；多功能中试车间建筑面积2000多平方米，配备反应和分离设备40余台套。先后承担和完成国家863高技术研究计划、国家自然科学基金、河南省重大科技攻关和河南省杰出人才创新基金等各类科研项目90多项，获得国家科技进步二等奖1项、中国专利金奖1项和省科技进步奖约20项，获得美国专利、欧洲专利和中国发明专利授权70多项，发表研究论文280余篇。河南省科学院高新技术研究中心与国内外高校、科研机构和企业建立了长期的合作关系。

Introduction to High & New Technology Research Center
of Henan Academy of Sciences
High & New Technology Research Center of Henan Academy of Sciences (HNTRC), a newly formed non-profit institute, is comprised of two provincial research platforms, Henan Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals and Henan Analysis and Testing Center. Henan Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals is one of the five key laboratories firstly established by the provincial government. Its major research directions are the study and development of new medicines and drug intermediates, green preparatory processes for fine chemicals and organic polymers. Henan Analysis and Testing Center is one of the strongest comprehensive analysis and testing institutions in the province with a superiority in the research leading to novel analysis and testing techniques of chemical substances. It is certified by the China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) to provide fair testing data to the society, while accepting entrustment to conduct quality testing and analysis on various chemicals, foods and medicines, etc.
HNTRC has high-level scientific research and development teams, of which 15 are research fellows and 20 have earned the Ph. D. degrees. HNTRC also has one high-level researcher selected by the New Centaury National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project, two high-level researchers enjoying the state council issued special government allowances, four provincial outstanding experts, and two provincial academic leaders. HNTRC has four Provincial Innovation Teams, including the “Provincial Innovation Team on Nucleoside Antiviral New Drug Discovery and Development”, the “Provincial Innovation Team on Water-Soluble Polymers”, the “Provincial Innovation Team on oil field auxiliary agent” and the “Provincial Innovation Team on high-performance polyurethane and its composites”.
Since its founding in 2002, HNTRC has completed more than 90 important national and provincial science projects, including the National 863 High Tech Research and Development Program, the National Nature Science Foundation, the Henan Key Science Program and the Henan Innovation Fund for Outstanding Talents. Nearly 20 achievements have been awarded by State, Ministry or Provincial government. More than 70 inventions have been patented in US, EU and China. And more than 280 papers have been published.
HNTRC has dozens of advanced instruments for testing materials and properties, including Instron universal testing machines, SEM, AFM, FTIR, NMR, ICP, LC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS and X-ray, etc. It also operates a pilot plant to enable transfer of scientific achievements into pilot manufacturing processes. The HNTRC has established long-term cooperation with universities and institutes nationwide and abroad.
